This year, The Bible Study class will cover the Life of Moses.  Moses’ trials with Pharaoh, the plagues, miracles and the Exodus from Egypt; the Ten Commandments and the golden calf at Mt. Sinai; the building of the Ark of the Covenant and Israel’s 40 year journey and redemption; the entry into the Promised Land, the conquest of Canaan under the leadership of Joshua.

Outside of Jesus, Himself, no one has had more of a lasting impression than Moses.  Four of the books of the Bible cover his life.  Some of Moses’ life you are familiar with; a good deal more will surprise you.  As always, the book is even better than the movie.  If you have been interested in getting more familiar with the Bible, maybe to read it for the first time, this is a colorful and interesting story.

Classes take place Sunday after 9:30am Mass in St. Patrick Hall, 10:45am -12:15pm.
